-What distinguishes your project from the others?
That should be judged by the ones that listen to our Black Metal, everyone that knows more national Bands have more criteria to judge the diferences, because it's something that im not interested in judging by myself. I make music for myself and I try to do it at the maximum of my possibilities and if I don't feel it perfect according to my creative point of view I'm not happy. I don't know if there is another band in the country doing the same that we are doing?
-What goals does your project have?
My personal goal is to make the leader band of BLACK METAL in Latin America and to raise the movement in Guatemala to a never seen place, but if it doesn't happen, I don't care either, besides it can be done with CRUEL or another project as MUNDANO, wich is an alternate project more violent than CRUEL, more in the vein of ABYSSUM but in this project I play with people form Honduras and we are preparing the demo debut for the begining of 2007.
-What opinion do you have of the Guatemalan public?
It is something that I would like to judge in the moment of having at least 300 people in front of us, for the moment I'm creating a new opinion, because the actual generation is very diferent from the one of ten years ago, but a lot of people motivates us to keep on giving our music. We will keep on doing this while it is worthy.
-Do you have any release planned in the future?
I have just released with my underground label the live demo of CRUEL wich I made only for the ones that ask me about live latin Black Metal. Besides that I released a demo in the rehersal called "In My Heart Burn The Flame Of Evil" this is exclusive for my contacts in North American and European bands that like the rawness of our music. The next step is the rehersal demo that we are about to release wich will be printed in professional kct limited only for the extreme maniacs of CRUEL, in the same way we are going to do the MCD and demo 2 in a professional studio, and the production of the DVD is delayed because of diverse reasons, but it will contain images of every gig that we played and the forthcomming 2.
-What does the Guatemalan metal scene needs to be known in an international level?
The principal issue is to raise the musical and creative level, if the scene doesn't present anything interesting nobody is going to see it, besides the disunited attitude of the majority of the metalheads, the professionalism is not even known, they don't handle the resources in an adecuate way, they are a little enthusiasts because they do it only to hang out, and I speak about the majority, not only of bands, also the pseudo-fanzines or the websites like yours and anothers, everyone does their own in order to be seen or admired, not because it is what they pretend to do with their lives, the idea is to try to be professional in every sense and in this way may the necesary creativity can come to make a scene at least respected in Central America.
